Glen Bruns is a mixed media artist from southwest MInnesota.  His current artistic focus includes creating collages with old books and other vintage materials.  Glen finds a lot of charactor in old books and loves bringing new life to something considered tattered and old.

Glen's artwork is truely unique and has received such recognition as being included in the first juried show at the Washington Pavilion and as a finalist for The Artist magazine's over 60 art competition.  Most recently Glen was one of five of the Awards of Excellence given to juror selected works at the Carnegie Art Center Juried Exhibition.  Southwest Minnesota Arts Council awarded Glen an individual artist grant to support his work on vintage book collages.

Glen has a graphic arts degree from Mankato Vo-Tech and his bachelor's degree in Studio Arts from Southwest Minnesota State University.
