Donna Cristy is a native Texan, transplanted to the Dakota's in 2013.  She immediately fell in love with the 

vast beauty of the Dakota's as well as the people and never plans to leave.  She has been working as a 

professional artist since 2014.  She has been a featured artist at Capital Gallery in Bismarck, North Dakota

and at the North Dakota State Capital.  Her medium of choice is oil and she has also dabbled in pastels,

watercolor, and acrylics.  She paints what inspires her.  She has frequently entertained commission requests.  Her

style is Impressionalism and her paintings are recognized by vibrant. rich colors and textures.  She strives to make 

each piece both visually stunning and emotionally impactful.  She begins each piece with a vision in mind but allows

the material and instincts to guide her,  She believes the process of creating art should be just as fulfilling as the
