Founded over two decades ago in the historic 8th and Railroad Center, the EastBank Art Gallery has evolved from a grassroots creative collective into a cornerstone of downtown Sioux Falls. Since its inception, the artist-run cooperative has maintained a steadfast commitment to grassroots art education and mentorship. By regularly featuring guest artists, hosting engaging monthly artist talks, and offering open dialogue during community events, the gallery acts as a vital incubator where emerging creators can refine their craft, gain professional exhibition experience, and connect directly with mentors and patrons.
Beyond its foundational role in local artistic development, the gallery serves as an important economic and cultural anchor in the Sioux Falls tourism sector.
